Dead zone is a term commonly used to describe a weak or absent Wi-Fi network (signal) in certain areas. Generally, caused by obstructions (appliances, thickness or material between walls or floors, etc.), distance from the router, or multiple high-bandwidth users. They can be minimized by placing the router in an unobstructed or centralized location.
