What is the 911 Fund charge on my bill?

Purpose?

This fee is used for the funding of emergency services (police, fire and ambulance) for each of the respective locations.

Applies to?

All access lines for both the ILEC and CLEC business and residential

How is the fee calculated?

The fee percentage is set by each municipality/county where the customer lives. The rates can and will be different. There is not one set rate. The fee is based on all local services.

Any exemptions?

No.
